Brass bomb stamped on the back with the service number "000 / 37", the regiment number "3", "42", the gutter of the base of the bomb is of the 1845 model with a projecting molding composed of a square fillet and from another circle.
Strong leather turban covered with a headband imitating panther skin.
Visor and neck cover in brass, each edged with a folded ring straddling the outer edge.
Crest in stamped brass, composed of a mask stamped with a flaming bomb surmounted by a head of Medusa in relief with above a crown of laurel and oak branches; two ailerons struck with a decreasing series of eight gadroons framed by pearls of acanthus leaves and palmettes, and in the upper part by a series of laurel leaves; cover plate stamped with a decoration depicting a braided mane. Crest fixed to the crown by means of five round-headed steel screws.
Brass crest ornament consisting of an olive decorated with palmettes, a socket with laurel branches and palmettes, and a black horsehair puff.
Brass quill holder in the shape of a sleeve decorated with foliage.
Black horsehair mane, apparent length about 58 cm.
Interior leather cap cut into seven wolf teeth.
H of the bomb 22 cm, total H 37.5 cm.

Fair condition, shell in good condition, crest and crest ornament with a few dents and dents, chinstraps missing, inner headdress in poor condition with tears and wolf tooth losses, right side at the base of the crest on the part folded over the shell accident and replacement on 4 cm.
