One-piece bronze frame typical of this model. Guard with one branch stamped “A”. 19-strand fluted handle. Flat curved blade, length 59.2 cm, back of blade signed “Mture Rle D’alsace”. One side of the blade is engraved with a flaming bomb followed by the inscription “GRENADIER” and on the other side with a flaming bomb surmounted by “RéPe”, with “E R” hallmark. Black waxed leather scabbard with two brass fittings, clevis with button for wearing on the belt.
