Brass frame. Guard with three branches forming an openwork shell and decorated with a flaming bomb. Short-tailed cap. Keyboard with quillon decorated with a palmette, hallmarked “VERSAILLES” and “JC” in an oval by J. Cazamajou, reviser from 1803 to August 1806, this last hallmark is found on the ferrule, and “B” by Nicolas Noël Boutet, entrepreneur from 1800 to 1818. Wooden handle sheathed in black waxed calfskin with brass filigree. Brass ferrule. Curved blade with hollow sides, back signed “Mfture Imple du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères”, stamped “M” under star of inspector C. Marion, inspector from 1808 to 1811 and “B” of controller G.J. Bick, controller from 1809 to 1824 .Blade length 96.7 cm. Brass scabbard with two fittings, a cap and a long bouterolle, brass bracelet bordered with protruding moldings, with brass eyebolts and steel rings, hollowed out in wood sheathed in black leather with brass splints reinforced with two plain brass bracelets.

Condition of the sword: very good condition, small accident to the calf of the handle.
Scabbard in good state of conservation, repairs at the level of the puncture as is often the case, with change of the original splints and bracelets and replacement with wider splints.
