Made of silver-plated copper, featuring a cross patty with a center depicting Saint George slaying a dragon. On the reverse, a central medallion bearing the monogram of Catherine II, the founder of the Order.
Foreign-made example, not of Russian origin, unnumbered, lacking the metal type designation characters, with a spelling mistake on the reverse in the lower branch of the Cross indicating the class. The letter "E" is notably missing in the word "4. CTEII". Orange ribbon with three black vertical stripes, mounted in the Russian style.
