Moulé en polyester renforcé à fibres de verre blanc. Sur le devant est fixée une plaque en laiton estampé représentant un écu avec bombe enflammée, surmonté d'une couronne, et encadré d'une branche de chêne et de laurier, avec en partie supérieure un ruban portant l'inscription « SAPEURS POMPIERS INDRE & LOIRE ». Intérieur de coiffure en cuir brun et toile bleue, proche du casque militaire français modèle 1951.
