CASQUE DE SAPEURS-POMPIERS DE LA COMMUNE DE SAINT MARCEL-LÈS-VALENCE, type 1855, Second Empire. 25479

Entièrement en laiton. Cimier estampé de onze godrons décroissants. Plaque frontale estampée en relief de l'aigle impériale sur fond rayonnant avec ruban portant l'inscription « Srs POMPIERS DE St MARCEL-LÈS-VALENCE ». Porte-plumet en laiton à section carrée décroissant vers le bas. Visière et couvre-nuque cerclés d'un jonc en laiton. Jugulaires composées d'une mentonnière en cuir recouvert de quinze écailles en laiton découpées alternativement à deux et trois festons, terminée par une rosace de forme ronde moulurée en relief avec au centre une vis de fixation à la bombe. Mentonnière gauche terminée par un sanglon en cuir, mentonnière droite terminée par une boucle en laiton avec ardillon. Coiffe intérieure en cuir ciré noir découpé à neuf dents de loup.
