HELMET OF FIREFIGHTERS OF THE COMMUNE OF CHAUFFAILLES, type 1895, Third Republic. 25443

Helmet made entirely of brass. 2nd type crest with protruding moldings decorated on the front with a grenade, fixed by means of internal screws to the bomb. Brass front plate stamped with a flaming grenade coat of arms surmounted by the crown framed by oak and laurel branches and ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS DE CHAUFFAILLES”. Plumet holder with square section.
