HELMET OF FIREFIGHTERS FROM THE COMMUNE OF VILLIERS AU BOIN, type 1895, Third Republic. 25445

Helmet made entirely of brass. 2nd type crest with protruding moldings decorated on the front with a grenade, fixed by means of internal screws to the bomb. Brass front plate stamped with a pyre coat of arms surmounted by the crown framed by oak and laurel branches and ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS VILLIERS AU BOIN”. Plumet holder with square section.

Fairly good condition, slightly dented bomb, plaque with missing parts in the branches, missing chin guard, rear interior cap.
