PARIS CITY FIREFIGHTERS HELMET, model 1915, commercially manufactured reconditioning 1920s, Third Republic. 25456

Fully matt green lacquered steel bomb. Front plate in blue-green lacquered brass embossed with a coat of arms of the city of Paris with crown, oak and laurel branches and ribbon bearing the inscription “FLUCTUAT NEC MERGITUR”. Chin strap in black leather. Interior cap in black leather cut into eight wolf teeth.
