CASQUE D'OUVRIERS POMPIERS DE LA MARINE, type 1855, Second Empire.

Casque entièrement en laiton. Cimier estampé de onze godrons décroissants. Plaque frontale estampée de l'aigle impériale tenant dans ses serres le fuseau de Jupiter étincelant surmontant une ancre de marine et d'un ruban portant l'inscription « OUVRIERS POMPIERS DE LA MARIE », de part et d'autre de la plaque une branche de laurier. Porte-plumet à section carrée légèrement décroissant vers le bas. Visière et couvre-nuque cerclés de laiton. Jugulaires monobloc en laiton estampé représentant une suite d'écailles festonnées terminées dans le haut par une rosace moulurée en relief. Coiffe intérieure en cuir noir découpé à neuf dents de loup.
