HELMET OF FIREFIGHTERS OF THE IMPERIAL TERRITORY OF ALSACE-LORRAINE, 1871-1919. 25314-1
Entirely in brass. Spherical bomb edged in the lower part with a protruding rim. Visor and neck cover spray-welded in the lower part, they are folded on themselves to form a border strip. Crest composed of two projecting edges welded with a spray gun. Chin strap composed of a strong brown leather chin strap, 2 cm wide, with a rectangular guilloché brass buckle held in place by means of two round rosettes stamped in relief with two protruding moldings. Neck cover marked by a German manufacturer from the city of Ulm “C.D. MAGIRUS / ULM a.D”. Interior leather headdress cut into eight wolf teeth.

Very good condition with the exception of two spots of lead soldering at the front and back of the crest, a few spray marks.
