Eight-sided thunder barrel then round, length 1.03 m, with breech tail 1.08 m. Breech tail “M ... (illegible)”. All brass fittings, held by iron springs, with the exception of the butt plate which is steel. The fittings are all marked “B” under a star. Walnut frame, cheek stock, receipt stamp on the cock. Platinum type An IX signed “Paris Pihet Frères”. Iron wand.
Total length of the rifle 1.42 m.
