Chiseled and gilded cast brass mount in the shape of a collar and rooster's head modeled on the swords of the King's Constitutional Guard model 1791-1792, H 14.3 cm, width seen from the front 6.4 cm, thickness seen from the side 3.3 cm.
Symmetrical flat cruise, highlighted with an engraved fillet. H 2.6 cm, width seen from the front 13.1 cm, thickness seen from the side 2.5 cm.
Very slightly curved blade, with hollow back and sides, 71.2 cm long by 5.2 cm heel, thickness 1.2 cm, counter-edged. Remains of brown leather tie, with scarlet wool tie added later.
Weight (without scabbard) 1.269 kilograms.
Leather scabbard with two fittings in cut and gilded brass. Clevis fitted on the face with a button intended for the port for the harness, at the rear is welded a piton with trapezoidal hook.
Scabbard weight 0.406 kilograms.
