Dark blue cloth coat fastening straight at the front with nine buttonholes garnished with silver uniform buttons embossed with a coat of arms of France on a background of a bundle of flags and surrounded by oak and laurel branches. Collar and cuffs embroidered in silver thread similar to generals' uniforms (branches of oak leaves with silver embroidery on the outer edge representing a scalloped braid). The bottom of the sleeves is garnished with two small module uniform buttons, diameter 1.7 cm. On the back, the uniform is embroidered at the waist with oak leaves with two uniform buttons (one missing). Scarlet cloth lapels embroidered in the four corners of the bottom with fleur-de-lis in silver thread. Lining of the garment in scarlet cloth and ivory silk.

Restoration.
Buttons in perfect condition, embroidery in perfect condition, not oxidized, coat with numerous moth holes mainly on the front, lining of the basques partly missing (uniform can be restored).
