Monture en laiton. Garde à trois branches avec branche principale « G » étoilé du directeur Gazan, 1842-1846 et « W » du contrôleur de deuxième classe Wideman, 1829-1836. Calotte à courte queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau ciré noir filigrané laiton. Lame courbe à pans creux, longueur 92,5 cm, dos plat avec signature « Manufre Rle Châtellerault mars 1843 », talon poinçonné du « G » étoilé du directeur Gazan, 1842-1846 et « B » de Bisch, contrôleur de deuxième classe 1840-1844. Cravate en cuir naturel. Fourreau en acier à deux bracelets de bélière.
