Brass frame. Four-pronged guard. Short-tailed cap. Wooden handle covered in black waxed calfskin with brass filigree. Brass ferrule.
Straight blade with hollow sides 96 cm long with tip in the extension of the back.
France.
First Empire.
Good condition, saber guard plate pierced with a small hole, blade with slight oxidation, accident at the end of the tip, without sheath.
NOTE :
This saber no longer bears any hallmark and the back of the blade has been ground which has removed the signature.
