REGULATORY CAVALRY POINT PISTOL, model 1822, Restoration. 25654

Octagonal then round barrel in steel, length 20 cm, with the breech tail 23.8 cm. Breech tail marked “Ml 1822”. Walnut frame bearing the number “192”, mouthpiece, backplate, trigger guard and cap, cast brass basin; plate, hammer, battery and steel trigger. Platinum marked “Mre Rle de St Etienne”, and hallmarked “M” starred by controller Claude Merley. Steel ring under the cap. Trims stamped “G” by controller Joseph Guichard.
Steel nail head wand.
Total length of the weapon: 35 cm.
Caliber: 17 mm
