Roman-style mount (15.5 cm H) in one-piece brass with symmetrical cruise and handle decorated with 18 rows of scales. Strong pommel deeply engraved on each side with a large fleur-de-lys, removed during the Revolution of 1830. At the top of the pommel, an iron rivet is intended to secure the blade. Blade 49.3 cm long, width at the heel 5 cm, straight and flat with the back cut into saw teeth.
