Pastel on paper representing in profile the bust of an infantry officer in dark blue uniform, sky blue collar and facings, gold buttons, signed and dated lower right “Painted by JM Fauret May 1808”. H at sight 37 cm, width 28.5 cm. Presented under glass in a modern pitch pine frame, H 45 cm, width 36.5 cm.
