Brass frame. Guard with three branches in the shape of an N, main branch hallmarked with the rooster and signed “LEMAITRE”. Short-tailed cap. Square section handle in wood covered in black waxed calfskin, copper filigree. Curved blade with hollow sides, length 91.5 cm, stamped with the beam of lictors and the “Langres” furnisher. Black patent leather scabbard with three brass fittings with scalloped edges, brass bail eyelets with steel rings.
