HELMET OF A NCO FIREFIGHTER OF THE CITY OF REIMS, type 1933, Fifth Republic. 24870
Slightly trapezoidal shaped bomb, entirely chrome-plated, retaining the characteristics of the 1926 model helmet with ventilation holes, leaf springs and chin strap attachments. Folded brass bangle straddling the outer edge of the visor and the neck cover. Flat present on the front of the crest with flaming bomb attached in chrome metal. Polished and chrome-plated crest fixed with dull rivets. Front plate in stamped chrome metal representing a shield stamped with a flaming bomb surmounted by a crown, oak and laurel branches and a ribbon bearing the inscription “SAPEURS POMPIERS DE REIMS”. Inner headdress in black leather cut into six wolf teeth. Brown leather chin strap.
