Gilded brass frame. Guard with a branch decorated with palmettes and laurel branches. Oval pommel, short-tailed crown decorated with laurel branches. Horn handle with gold filigree. Curved white blade with hollow sides, length 80.5 cm, back signed "Manufre de Klingenthal Coulaux Frères 6bre...", it is entirely acid-etched with a mirror-polished finish on its three-quarter palmettes, floral decorations, crossed cannons with central cartridge bearing the inscription "To Captain Vor Bootz" on one side and on the other side the same decoration with the inscription "L'escadron d'Artrie de la gde Natle de douai". Remnant of scarlet cloth tie. Steel scabbard with two brass bail bracelets, brass scabbard entry bowl.
