Model 1842 belt for carrying a sword. In black leather, width 4.3 cm, in three parts linked together by two round brass rings 5.2 cm in diameter. Rectangular brass buckle allowing size adjustment. On either side the belt is finished with two round molten brass buckles, diameter 4.5 cm, decorated with two crossed cannons surmounted by a flaming bomb, connected together by an S-shaped hook representing a double snake. Sword holder pocket with brass buckles.

Very good condition, this belt is in its original, worn condition, with the varnish of the rubbed leather and its black waxed color which has faded to brown.
