Brass hilt. Guard with one branch decorated with lines. Octagonal brass pommel decorated with lines and a short tail. Octagonal ebony handle decorated with vertical moldings. Curved blade with hollow facets, length 71.5 cm, engraved on its first third with military trophies and floral decorations. Scarlet cloth knot. Black waxed leather scabbard with two brass fittings decorated with lines and scalloped inner edges, tip with button for belt attachment.

Fairly good condition, hilt in good condition, heavily oxidized blade, leather on scabbard replaced later, period fittings reemployed.
