Canon à cinq pans courts, queue de culasse marquée « Mle 1822T », poinçonné « M.R » daté « 1829 » « C De 17.6 ».
Platine à percussion poinçonnée « H » sous couronne, signée « Mre Rle de Mutzig ».
Garnitures en laiton, calotte à anneau en acier, sous-garde en fer : toutes poinçonnées.
Crosse pentée en noyer.
Baguette en acier matriculée pareillement au canon.

Longueur totale 34,8 cm.
Longueur du canon 19,8 cm, longueur du canon avec la queue de culasse 23,7 cm.
Calibre 17,6 mm.

Bon état, légère oxydation de surface sur le canon, crosse avec plusieurs fentes en partie basse ayant été restaurées.
