SABRETACHE D'OFFICIER DE HUSSARDS, MODÈLE 1854, SECOND EMPIRE.

En cuir verni noir (H 28 cm, largeur en partie basse 25,5 cm, largeur en partie haute 19 cm), garnie en son centre d'une plaque en laiton doré estampé en forme d'aigle impériale couronnée tenant dans ses serres le faisceau de Jupiter étincelant. H de la plaque 16,5 cm, largeur 12,7 cm. La plaque est fixée à la pattelette au moyen d'un fil de fer (changé postérieurement) passant dans 6 agrafes de laiton. Poche intérieure en basane noire Empire. Anneaux de suspension en laiton.
Deux courroies de suspension non du modèle sont attachée avec des boucles d'origine.

Bon état, cuirs manque la croix au sommet de couronne de l'aigle a perdu sa dorure.
