HUNTING CARTRIDGE POUCH, Second Empire. 22984

Brown leather cartridge pouch with a slightly curved shape, measuring H 7 cm, W 21 cm, depth 6 cm. At the back of the case, two half-rings in brass are each attached by a wide brown leather strap. At the front, the case is hot-stamped on each side with the large imperial arms and the inscription "PATENTED s606 1857". The lid closes with a brass hinged lock secured by a pivoting button, engraved with a small hunting horn.

Complete with its 10 original pinfire cartridges, brass base D 17 mm marked 24, cardboard cartridge D 16 mm, L 55 mm, total length with base 60 mm.
