INFANTRY SERGEANT'S SWORD, reign of Louis XV, Old Monarchy, circa 1750-1767.

Iron hilt without decoration. Crossguard with small rings. Handle made of finely grooved ebony with sculpted ferrules. Round pommel. Triangular blade engraved with geometric patterns on its first third, length 75.6 cm. Without scabbard.
