SABRETACHE AND OFFICER'S BELT OF THE 1st REGIMENT OF HUSSARS, model 1830, July Monarchy. Black patent leather belt, width 4 cm. It ends with two round buckles, diameter 4.6 cm, in cast brass in relief with a lion's head and linked together by an S-shaped hook depicting snake heads. At the back of the belt, three other identical loops, diameter 5.3 cm, are present, they receive the five suspension straps of the saber and the sabretache, in black patent leather, width 2.1 cm for the sabretache and 2 .8 cm wide for the saber holder straps. Black patent leather tray, H 31 cm, width at the top 18.5 cm, width at the bottom 31 cm, with interior pocket in patent leather, H 27.5 cm. In the center a gilded brass plate, in the shape of a shield, stamped in relief with the Gallic rooster placed on a ribbon tying a laurel branch and an oak branch on a background of a trophy of flags. In the lower part a circle is cut out with the number "1". H of the plate 15.8 cm, width 14.5 cm. France. July Monarchy. Very good condition, one of the two saber suspension straps broken.
