Black varnished leather flap, H 31 cm, width at the top 19 cm, width at the bottom 31 cm, with an interior pouch in varnished leather, H 27.5 cm. In the center, a gilded brass plaque in the shape of a shield, embossed in relief with a Gallic rooster perched on a ribbon tying a laurel branch and an oak branch on a background of a trophy of flags. In the lower part, a circle is cut out with the number "6". H of the plaque 15.5 cm, width 14 cm.

Good condition, three brass suspension rings are missing, as well as the leather straps attaching them to the sabretache, the lower fixing tab of the plaque is missing.
