Monture en laiton fondu en forme de col et tête de coq, H 17,5 cm. Croisière plate symétrique soulignée d'un filet gravé, H 2,6 cm. Couvre-chape en laiton. Lame légèrement courbe à pans creux de 77,50 cm de long sur 5,2 cm au talon, épaisseur 8 mm ; elle est gravée sur son premier tiers, sur une face « GARDE NATIONALE » sur fond bleui, et sur l'autre face du portrait d'un officier dans un médaillon, le tout sur fond bleui.
Fourreau en cuir à deux garnitures de laiton.
