Silver-plated copper bomb (H 16 cm), hallmarked "880" and two silversmith hallmarks, one marked "Bouelt."
Golden brass band stamped with a flaming bomb on a sandblasted background framed by laurel and oak branches.
Visor (width 6 cm) and neck guard in silvered copper, each bordered by a folded golden brass strip riding over the outer edge (width 6 mm). The visor is lined with green leather, and the neck guard with black leather.
Golden brass crest (H 11 cm) composed of a mask (H 13 cm, width 4.3 cm) stamped on a sandblasted background with a palmette topped by a relief head of Medusa; two fins stamped on a sandblasted background with a decreasing series of 13 fluted decorations framed by pearls and drops. Their bases are cut into large scallops and attached to the bomb by 4 round-headed screws per fin and interior nuts.
Golden brass plume holder consisting of an olive (H 2.5 cm, diameter 6.3 cm) decorated with palmettes on a sandblasted background, a serrated disc representing palmettes at the top of the olive, and a socket (H 3.4 cm, diameter 2.6 cm) with a scalloped upper edge, laurel branches and palmettes on a sandblasted background. Scarlet horsehair pom-pom (H 6 cm).
Square-sectioned slightly tapering downwards plume holder (H 4.8 cm) in engraved golden brass on the angles, decorated at the top with a crown of foliage.
Interlocking brass jugulars in the shape of interlaced 8's, chiseled, mounted on a leather chin strap (max width 4.2 cm, min width 1.8 cm); round rosette (diameter 5.5 cm) in stamped golden brass depicting a rayed sun, attached to the bomb with a chiseled flat-headed screw.
Black horsehair mane, in the form of a brush (H 5.5 cm) ending in a floating tail with an apparent length of about 56 cm. The assembly is mounted on a leather sole tightened at the back of the bomb with a golden brass winged screw.
Leather interior lining cut into 10 teeth.

Good state of preservation, some dents to the bomb, slight denting of the pom-pom, worn interior lining, helmet passed down through the family, never cleaned.
