Monture en laiton. Garde à une branche. Calotte à courte queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau ciré noir avec palmettes en laiton fixées de chaque côté au centre de la poignée. Lame courbe à pans creux, longueur 76,1 cm, signée au dos « Mfture Rle D'Alsace », elle est richement gravée de chaque côté de trophées militaires, têtes de Turc, hussards chargeant et Armes de France dont les fleurs de lys ont été effacées. Fourreau en bois gainé de cuir ciré noir à trois garnitures en laiton.

Bon état, la croisière a été fracturée au niveau de la base de la branche de garde et du quillon avec réparation.
