Cardboard barrel covered with a blue cloth sleeve, trimmed on the sides with a gold cord, H at the front 16 cm, H at the back 19.5 cm. Bourdalou in black patent calfskin 3 cm high. Gold braid called lizard, 3 cm high. Tricolor metal cockade, 5.8 cm in diameter. Cap in black varnished cow, diameter 13 cm. Visor in strong cow varnished black on the top and green on the underside, width in its center 5.5 cm. Brass plaque gilded with ground gold, H 10.5 cm, width 12 cm, it represents a crown in the antique style, formed of an oak branch and another of laurel, in the center a half-shaped domed bears the number 10 cut out, at the bottom the crown is tied with ribbons (bandlets), it is surmounted by the royal crown. Inner cap partly missing. Double scarlet wool pompom. France. July Monarchy. Good condition, small accident on the right part of the bourdalou, interior cap in burgundy morocco complete with its black silk but unstitched and the chin strap in black patent leather.
