Monture en laiton. Garde à six branches formant une coquille ajourée décorée en son centre d'une bombe éclatante en argent, calotte à courte queue, poignée en bois gainée de veau ciré noir, filigrane laiton. Lame droite plate de 93,5 cm de long, gravée de grenades, de trophées militaires, de l'inscription « Carabiniers » avec corolles de feuillages dorés sur fond bleui. Fourreau en cuir verni noir à trois garnitures de laiton.
