Monture en laiton. Garde à trois branches décorée à l'avant de grandes fleurs de lys. Calotte à longue queue. Poignée en bois gainé de veau filigrané d'un ruban de laiton. Virole en laiton décorée aux traits. Lame courbe à pans creux de 73,9 cm de longueur, gravée sur une face « Jean François Faurie de la Paroise de St Pierre de Maquabe. Vive La Nation ». Fourreau en cuir verni noir à deux garnitures de laiton, chape ayant conservé son tirant en buffle blanchi.
