Canon octogonal légèrement tromblonné vers la bouche, poinçonnés au tonnerre « BOUTET ». Les pans supérieurs sont signés « BOUTET Directeur Artiste ». Calibre 14 mm, canons lisses. Platine à corps plat gravée « BOUTET À VERSAILLES ». Bassinet en acier. Toutes garnitures en acier poli gravé de feuillages et découpé. Calotte ovale demi-bombée. Monture en noyer à long fût. Crosse pentée finement quadrillée.
Longueur du canon : 17,6 cm, avec la queue de culasse 23,3 cm.
Longueur totale de l'arme : 30,5 cm.
