Czapka measures 25.5 cm in height, with a shaft of 21.5 cm in height. The width of its upper part, flat and square, is 23.5 cm.
Black patent leather turban adorned with a gold soutache forming a series of intertwined rings. The junction of leather and cloth is concealed by a scarlet cloth braid embroidered with golden threads representing a laurel leaf branch.
The four sides of the headgear are adorned with golden passementerie braids, the top of the cap is made of black velvet with gold trim.
The four lateral angles are adorned with brass leaves, and the front part features a small brass lion's head. The right trim supports a hook for raising the chinstrap if necessary, and the rear trim has a ring.
On each side, there is a brass rosette in the shape of a lion's head in high relief on a quatrefoil; from the one on the left side, a brass curb chain forms the chinstrap mounted on scarlet cloth; on the lion's head on the opposite side, a brass hook supports the chain.
Black patent leather visor, slightly inclined and bordered with a brass braid.
At the front, a brass plate is attached, with relief-stamped rays and a central decoration of an "N" topped with a brass crown, affixed to a central silver-copper plate.
Interior liner composed of a leather headband topped with a cloth headband. Interior liner size 55/60 cm.
Golden passementerie tassel cord.
White plume with a black tip.
