Watercolor from the photograph of the hunter Montellier (battalion of Guard hunters) published in Captain Richard's book “LA GARDE” to which it had been lent by Maurice Levert.

Entered the service as a replacement in the 6th Light on December 12, 1850.
Passed to the 19th Hunter Battalion on January 22, 1854.
Released December 31, 1856.
Incorporated into the 9th Hunter Battalion as a volunteer on January 28, 1857.
1st class fighter on May 17, 1858.
Passed to the 20th Hunter Battalion on September 13, 1858.
Passed to the Chasseurs de la Garde battalion on April 10, 1859.
Here is the capture of the flag of the Austrian infantry regiment “Archduke Ernest” on June 24 by Montellier.
Corporal on June 26, 1859.
Definitively released on June 25, 1859, knight of the Legion of Honor on August 13, 1859 (the eagle of the battalion of Chasseurs de la Garde himself received the Legion of Honor on July 25).
