Arme à poudre noire, calibre 44. Canon octogonal à pans de 8 pouces à rayures, marqué sur le pan supérieur gravé « PATENTED SEP. 14 SEPT. 14. 1858 / - E. REMINGTON & SON LLION NEW-YORK U.S.A / NEW MODEL », matriculé sur le pan inférieur « 139469 ». Carcasse en acier. Arcade de pontet en laiton nickelé. Plaquettes en noyer lisse, matriculé « 139469 ».

États-Unis.
Seconde moitié XIXème siècle, produit de 1863 à 1875.
Bon état, bronzage d'origine, très belle patine, fleurs de rouille pouvant être nettoyée.
Certaines vues ayant été forcée au niveau de l'éclairage pour pouvoir mieux se rendre compte de l'état du canon et des chambres. Rayures bien nettes et très bon état de fonctionnement du mécanisme.
