Guard with a gilt brass branch. Cap with a short tail, H 6.9 cm. Handle in wood wrapped in copper filigree veal. Brass ferrule. Curved blade with hollow flutes, unmarked and unassociated, length 70.5 cm. Crimson cloth tie. Black varnished leather scabbard with two gilt brass fittings.

Fair condition, veal on the handle slightly worn at the ends, blade oxidized, missing gilding on the knuckle bow, scuffed and worn leather on the edges of the scabbard.
NOTE:
This saber corresponds to the infantry saber of the Imperial Guard but its gilt fittings and unmarked blade allow us to attribute it to a non-commissioned officer.
