BRITISH BALTIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL, 1854-1855, Mid 19th century.
A round silver medal featuring on the obverse the profile of young Queen Victoria, and on the reverse a depiction of Britannia wearing a helmet, seated on a rock, holding a trident with her right hand, with a naval cannon and cannonballs resting on a bundle of flags topped with a crown, the Bomarsund Fortress on the right and the Sveaborg Fort on the left. Signed "L. C. WYON." Yellow silk ribbon bordered by two light blue vertical stripes.
