Monture en bronze doré, garde à trois branches formant coquille décorée d'un lion. Calotte à longue queue avec pommeau en forme de casque empanaché à l'antique. Poignée en bois entièrement filigranée. Lame légèrement courbe à pans creux gravée « VAINCRE OU MOURIR / POUR LA NATION » doré à fond bleui (longueur 75,5 cm). Fourreau en cuir verni noir à trois garnitures en laiton avec attelles en laiton.

Composite 19° et 20° siècle, monture d'époque, lame ancienne mais regravée et mise en couleur postérieurement, fourreau postérieur.
