En soie blanche. Aux extrémités sont cousus deux glands, recouverts de cannetille d'argent appliquée. Les gorges et les jupes à longues franges sont à grosses torsades argent et coton blanc, les noeuds sont décorés sur chaque face de trois étoiles dorées.

Présentée dans sa boîte de transport d'origine en carton recouvert de papier écarlate et vert, doublé de soie.

La dénomination de maréchal de camp est utilisée à la place de général de brigade sous la Restauration et la Monarchie de Juillet, tout comme le grade de lieutenant-général remplace celui de général de division lieutenant-général. Cette dénomination disparaît définitivement en 1848.
