Tall felt hat. Height at the front 28.5 cm, height at the back 36 cm, width 43 cm, depth 16 cm. At the front, a large cockade in white and silver trim (diameter 8.8 cm). Silver trim consisting of a braid (width 4 cm) woven with a black silk stripe in the middle, sewn onto the felt and held at the bottom by a silver button of the Guards of the King's Bodyguards (molded in relief depicting the face of the sun). Inner cap composed of a 6.7 cm high black waxed leather headband, topped with a pink silk cap, with a label of the manufacturer glued to the back, printed in black "N°76 rue de Paris, Ci-dt Joubert, DUHATOIS BAUDELOT, successor of Charbuy, Hatter of the Royal Gendarmerie, A AUXERRE".
Good condition, the two ends of the horns have some accidents and missing parts.
