SHAKO PLATE OF THE 7th LINE INFANTRY FUSILIERS REGIMENT, 1812 type, First Empire. 20916
This brass stamped plate (or badge) attached to the front, represents a crowned imperial eagle holding Jupiter's thunderbolt in its talons, resting on a base with a raised center stamped with the number "7" surrounded by a prominent molding forming a circle similar in design to uniform buttons. It is framed by two lion heads with foliage branches and a lower molded band that is grooved and studded, Height 11.7 cm, width 11.2 cm.
