Gouache représentant un trompette de grosse cavalerie carabiniers à cheval, ainsi que différents détails de son uniforme et de son tablier en exergue. Signé en bas à droite « G.P. ». H 31 cm, largeur 23 cm. Présentée sous verre avec marie-louise, encadrement en bois moderne, H 38 cm, largeur 31 cm.
