Made of scarlet wool, closing straight at the front with 14 black lacquered metal hooks, adorned with gold braids woven in the style of the Gendarmes of the King's Household (width 2.6 cm), black velvet and gilt buttons embossed with the Jupiter's thunderbolt with flashes and flames.
Black velvet collar (height 10 cm) edged with a wide gold braid, with collar tabs consisting of a double gold braid.
Black velvet lapels framed by a wide gold braid and adorned with 14 buttonholes consisting of a double gold braid closed by a small gilt button (diameter 1.7 cm).
Sleeve ornaments in black velvet (height 8.2 cm) edged with a wide gold braid and adorned with 3 buttonholes consisting of a double gold braid closed by a large gilt button (diameter 2.3 cm). Above the ornaments, a buttonhole with a small button is attached.
Skirts with revers edged with a wide gold braid piped with black velvet, the four lower corners are adorned with a fleur-de-lys embroidered in gold thread and sequins on scarlet background (height of the fleur-de-lys 5.5 cm, width 4 cm). At the waist knot, two large uniform buttons frame the gold braid ending in a bow shape. Vertical faux pockets piped in black and edged with a wide gold braid with 3 buttonholes consisting of a double gold braid closed by a large gilt uniform button.
On each shoulder, a shoulder strap composed of a gold braid sewn on scarlet cloth is stitched.
