Brass hilt, four-branch guard bearing the marks of "VERSAIILLES" and the serial number "716." Short tailed pommel, handle in wood covered with black waxed calfskin with brass filigree. Brass ferrules. Straight blade with double hollow ground of 97.5 cm long with a pointed tip in line with the spine, signed on the back "Manufre Rle de Klingenthal Jabvier 1815"; it bears the stamps "B" surrounded by foliage of J.G. BICK, first-class controller from early 1812 to May 1815, "B" under a star of the inspector E.L. BORSON, from August 1814 to September 1816, and "L" for the reviewer F.L. LOBSTEIN, from June 1811 to July 1821. Steel scabbard with two belt rings, bowl stamped with the first-class controller J.G Bick 1815-1824.
