En toile beige entièrement recouverte de coutures en croisillons formant des losanges, fermant droit à l'avant avec patte se prolongeant sur l'épaule droite et sur la ceinture à droite, au moyen de six boutons en os et deux boutons manquants en os de teinte écarlate. Il est bordé au niveau du col, des emmanchures et en partie basse de bourrelets en corde gainée de drap écarlate. Gilet d'officier donc sans matricule ni marquage.

Bon état, quelques usures au drap des bourrelets.
Gilet sortant directement de famille jamais nettoyé depuis l'époque.
